The Linguistics Film Club

The Linguistics Film Club is a student-led initiative of the Linguistics Students of the University. The Film Club screens movies of various kinds (but with a focus on social issues) every Saturday at 2 pm in the K.M. Institute. The Club also organises workshops, talks and other kinds of interactive sessions related to film making, film appreciation and other related areas.

The broader aims of the club include developing a taste and appreciation of film as an art form and also promote tolerance, empathy and awareness around multitudes of socio-cultural and linguistic issues.
